Okay so, amidst the craziness of optimizing Twisted Shadows Reboot, designing the new mazes and putting together menus, a spark of inspiration hit me in the head like a brick for the story of the antagonist. For the time being, so as to ensure I dont spoil anything about the antagonists potential character, I will simply say… D.I.D.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.
In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
