Working On Big Changes

Today, I worked for about 6 hours on this, making some bigger changes than usual. I re-evaluated the gameplay and uses for some things.

I removed the purple spray from the game and just changed it all to water because it was annoying having both.

I also added a water meter instead of the spinning cylinder because it just looked bad and changed the water particles to drops instead of squares.

I changed the lights to be more apparent.

I also decided to add a few new things to the game… little pop-up flowers, fish, crops, and grass.

I got rid of the moss blocks because they weren’t obvious at all and didn’t add much. I modified the player collision to work better.

I still have a lot to work on, and there are some bugs, so I won’t be uploading a build right now. I’m only stopping because it’s kind of late and I have school tomorrow.

Here are some screenshots from early in the game.

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

If you have more of an acquired taste, the restaurants in Niravasi have you covered! Maybe skip the salad bar, though.
