working on building a world

so my procedural tile brush was left in a broken state. but i’ve started working on the world that’s gonna be the final world. this first area is gonna be the easy area to explore. i’m planning on releasing the first development build this Friday. i’ll leave up the preview build as it’s own build.

i’m basically updating a bunch of the systems so the development build will probably be mostly incomplete for a bit. so i might keep it locked behind an access key till it’s more ready. mostly so that anybody who’s going to try the game will get a version i feel comfortable leaving as a stable build.

i’m mostly just setting up rule tiles and drawing tilemaps. i still plan on using more found images as i go…. with the areas that are built entirely out of found images being the more challenging areas.

A calm and quiet day.. Made surreal by the feeling of finding an elven building in the mountains, and wondering of its purpose and story. I built this elven style house and it was my first attempt at something like this, but what do you think?
