Oof, this has been a rocky release so far. I’m really stressing out and working around the clock to update the game so that it has clear explanations of the mechanics, bug fixes, and improvements to parts of the gameplay.
The weight of having the game up while these issues persist is really giving me a load of anxiety that’s overwhelming me. For my health, I’m going to put the game back into devlog (again), fortunately it’s not getting loads of traffic like it was on Friday, so it shouldn’t cut off too many people from accessing it.
I am very grateful for the positive feedback, it means the world to me. Thank you also for the helpful feedback detailing the game’s issues, there are things I really should have done during development, (like prototype the gameplay, and have people other than me play it), but I was just a teenager when I started and I didn’t fully know what I was getting into.
I know this isn’t how releases are supposed to go, but I want people to be able to experience the whole of this game. I guess my goal for now is to continue updating and following feedback until people can complete the game and its levels.
If anyone who has given me feedback wants to be credited with testing the game, I’m willing to put you in the credits. I didn’t plan for all of this to happen, but thanks for staying with me as of now.
