LIGHTS! CAMERAS! …spiders??
As you can see from the above gif, we now have VOLUMETRIC lighting! But that’s just one of the many new additions we’ve finished so far.
From the Design Team…
We’ve been working our design dudes tirelessly, and they’ve been producing awesome things!
Evan has helped in getting a good looking tablet in place, as well as producing the logo for the security camera company that will be seen on the tablet, computer, and any other technology thing. He also did a thing with some carpet textures, but the logo is pictured below!
Soige has been working on getting textures fixed up to look right in the new scene, as well as working on getting some nicer lighting in our main scene.
Alex has been continuing the arduous task of weight painting the main character and animating it. Go Alex!
From the Programming Team…
Noah has been working on making the tablet have a sway for more realism when your holding it.
Typho has made the tablet semi functional so far, as well as been heavily developing the new camera system which now has volumetric lighting, panning abilities, and everything is sent to a render texture which allows us to paste what the cameras see anywhere!
Can’t forget the business side…
Edelen has been at work planning the soon to be kickstarter and release of a demo. He has been pivotal in helping us create an accurate business model so kudos to him!
What’s Next??
We want to have the tablet and pause menus fully functional before we move over to actually creating the real scene. But once that’s done we’ll start setting up the scene for the demo and show you our level design progress from then on!
