I'm trying to create an UI system on GameMaker, it seems not to be very easy due to GML lacks many useful syntax. (There'll be many new menus in GB!Sans Project.)
Finally, the first turn is here.
So now we can create the main part of a naming menu just with about 50 lines. 
Concept art and pixel art of several GBs.
It's coming.
Adapt it from UTE to the new template.
Improved animation of the buttons.
Finished the menu. Most of the time is spent to add more functions to typer like applying temporary effect and force refreshing the text.
