The title is in reference to the book "Wuthering Heights" which was also the inspiration for the general idea.

The Housekeeper's names, Zillah and Nelly are also references to the housekeepers from "Wuthering Heights"

Blanche's name (and the design for the area of Hell he lives in) are references to the play "A Streetcar Named Desire"

Blanche's design was based on an early version of Spencer

I almost canned this comic at page 5 out of boredom, but now I really like it

The joke for the loop de loop train page was originally going to be FK saying "this is why we don't let you design railways, Spencer" but I thought silence was funnier.

The part where Zillah and Nelly get crushed by the chandelier was originally going to have her say "the only thing that can stop me is a falling chandelier" but that's like Family Guy tier humor
