Yandere Simulator: Midori Adventure - Development Report #3

Oh, hello, fellow reader! Stefannofornari here, bringing you the latest Yandere Simulator: Midori Adventure Development Report!

First of all, I want to wish everyone a Happy 2018! I hope your year is full of great things and happiness. As a present for everyone, I decided that I should write a Development Report about Yandere Simulator: Midori Adventure today!

Today, I’m going to talk about curiosities and facts about the game, and etc. I have a surprise for you all in the end of this Devlog, as well… So, keep reading! And, as always, don’t forget that you can donate for me through Paypal, to show support for my games! Any quantity is accepted: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_donations&business=64KJ4F5QBU8MA&lc=US&item_name=Stefannofornari%20Games&currency_code=USD&bn=PP%2dDonationsBF%3abtn_donateCC_LG%2egif%3aNonHosted

But, without further ado, let’s begin the Development Report #3!

You all probably have a few questions about Midori Adventure and its development, so, I’m gonna answer all of them right here!

Question: Why is the game called “Yandere Simulator: Midori Adventure”?

Answer: Midori’s full name in Yandere Simulator is “Midori Gurin”. Midori in Japanese means “Green”, and Gurin also means “Green” in Japanese. This way, the game is technically called “Yandere Simulator: Green Adventure”. Originally, the game would be called as “Gurin Adventure”, however, I thought that “Midori Adventure” was something more… Interesting.

Question: How many characters are in the game?

Answer: Believe it or not, Midori Adventure is my game with the least number of characters. The game only has THREE characters in it: Midori Gurin, YandereDev, and… Well, I guess I can’t reveal the surprise of who’s the third character. Don’t worry, you’ll find out who it is in the game! But, anyway, all of the characters have a big role in the story. I thought that adding more characters to the game would take out the main focus… You’ll understand why I didn’t want to take out the “main focus of the game” when you play it.

Question: Is “Mai Waifu” in the game?

Answer: Unfortunately, nope! Mai Waifu is NOT the third character in the game.

Question: Is there some kind of romance in the game?

Answer: Nop, there is no “Love Story” in Midori Adventure. However, there are a few funny scenes that make fun of situations that look “Romantic”, so…

Question: How many time does it take to finish the game?

Answer: Yandere Simulator: Midori Adventure is my second biggest game, only behind Yandere Simulator 2: The Sequel, that could be finished by playing it for 2~4 hours. With that being said, Midori Adventure takes around 1.5~2.5 hours to finish. In case you’re wondering, my third biggest game is Yandere Simulator: The Prequel. The game takes around 1~2 hours to finish.

And now, the question you may all be asking yourselves right now…

Question: When does Midori Adventure releases?

Answer: … Yandere Simulator: Midori Adventure - The Visual Novel is going to be released in the first week of January 2018. When I said that “I would take a time to rest and I would be back in developing the game in 2018”, I was lying. All this time, I was developing the game! And… That’s all I’ll say.

Well, I guess that’s it for this Development Report! I hope you enjoyed reading everything. But, anyway… Midori Adventure is near its release! Stay tuned for its release… Thank you for reading this development report, and thank you for following the development of Yandere Simulator: Midori Adventure.

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.
