Yes, it's indeed challenging

My good friend @RobinTharsGames told me yesterday that I spend way too much time on small things in the game. And I have to admit, he is right.

Some amazing developers manage to make stunning work, without spending ages on deciding what filter to use, or without spending one entire day to code something almost completely unnoticeable in the final product. Within what? A matter of few months? I genuinely respect all of these people's work!

There are indeed a few drawbacks to this attitude I have, but one thing I can guarantee you, is that I am pushing the limits, and all of the time spent into smaller elements of the game will be rewarded. Most of them won't be noticeable, but those with eagle eyes will spot those small details that will make a scene interesting.

I've learnt a lot of new and unique techniques, that I'm not afraid to use in the project. You might have not heard much about them, because believe me plagiarism is a thing in here. During the development of this game, I've improved a lot in many different fields (you will see that in some parts of the game which might look a bit outdated compared to newer scenes). I've created an image and use a specific targeting method for this game, and so far (with the help of a few other factors), it's working very well!

I'm not a professional in all of the different domains obviously, there are people who have outstanding and way better skills in modeling, drawing, coding, sound design, story telling, and what not. But at least, I've managed to assemble all my knowledge into one piece of work, something where I've put a lot of care into.

I don't hesitate to bother Clickteam until it accepts to run, I'm not afraid of boundaries, literally nothing is impossible if you try hard enough. It's really all about how far you want to go. Software and knowledge limitation to my mind are easily fixable. And believe me, I have content to show.

Now I don't say that PI will be a prodigy, but I can firmly say that it will have the elements that people will remember. I know that. Unless some people somehow read my mind and make these ideas into their projects before I do that haha! But it should be fine. After some kind of unpleasant incident I had with someone, I'm being careful to what I share, with who, and what type of people.

Well now, let's just hope I finish it! But don't worry so far the progress has been going pretty well!

Now, about game updates, because I suppose that's why you're here, and not my small talk. Join discord!

I don't make a lot of progress (because studies), and they don't come in big chunks. But if I feel like something should be discussed if there is something pretty big in work or a question I have, I won't hesitate to post here!

I will make weekly (smaller) updates in my Discord server that can be found here: https://discord.gg/BxmzpFa

So definitely join if you want to be updated with the latest news about PYRO-ILLUSION!

I've made a huge amount of changes to the server, cleared a lot of annoying stuff, verification is now a lot easier AND you can find some other content creators such as @RobinTharsGames , @JayferGames, @ImaginaryBoy, @DandyRedPandy, @HackGameX294 , who are often sharing what they are working on there and interact a lot with their audience! Find them there!

Or if you're working on big stuff and want to have a your own place in-there, you can apply for one (with some conditions).

Game-wise, I have taken some important choice about how and when some scenes will happen in the game! I've finalized a few ideas and started working on probably one of the dopest thing in the entire game! WOooooOO!

See you on discord!
