Yesterday, I've bought the 2.5+ DLC.
The features present in the DLC will be very useful, especially for future Android ports I may make.
This means:
PC games will make use of the optimization options present in the DLC (such as Optimize Events) and Direct3D 11 mode.
Android games will make use of the JPEG compression feature on opaque images that are very detailed, which helps reduce the size of the .apk file, along with converting all sound files to .ogg format, which also helps with file size reduction.
