College Football Playoff - First Round: #10 Miami FL defeated #7 Texas A&M 10-3. Miami FL advances to the quarterfinals, where they will play #2 Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl on December 31st.

College Football Playoff - First Round: #6 Ole Miss defeated #20 Tulane 41-10. Ole Miss advances to the quarterfinals, where they will play #3 Georgia in the Sugar Bowl on January 1st.

College Football Playoff - First Round: #5 Oregon defeated #24 James Madison 51-34. Oregon advances to the quarterfinals, where they will play #4 Texas Tech in the Orange Bowl on January 1st.
