I would like to start by saying I respect his decision, he has worked his butt off for the last 7 years. He deserves it. The reason why he retired still bothers me, but that's sometimes how God works things out. I remember the first time I saw fnaf.
It was a late night 6 years ago. I was watching my favorite Youtuber play Prop hunt in gmod. He had loaded in a strange but captivating map with animatronics that would roam the building. All of a sudden, a strange purple face appears on my screen and a loud ear-piercing noise rings through my head. It gave me a thrill I had never expected.
From that moment onward, I've loved Five Nights at Freddy's, and Scott was the face of that. He affected individuals and communities. He gave life to a not-so-popular genre in gaming. He did all of these amazing things, and he never asked for much in return.
If I had a wish it would be to meet him and tell him how much he meant to me.
We'll miss him, but I hope he has an amazing retirement.
