I just rewatched some videos about UFW's progress and realized some things that could cause trouble.
1) the new healing abilities for sl and ffps characters could be overshadowed by giftboxers from the base game.
2) even if skins are more powerful than normal variants of the characters, the very low health bar might become too much of a liability for someone to keep (for example) a starter with a skin.
3) self-sacrifice could also be considered a bad move, because there would be no situation during battle where killing off a character to temporarily give health back to others is a good strategy.
4) regen song should be heavely buffed. Its just- its so baad. Please just buff that move, if you gotta keep it. it has the potential of being really darn good, if it wasn't for how LITTLE it actually heals you and damages the enemy. This and many other moves are just unnecessary garbage.
5) maybe have some moves deal "bleeding" or "bite" damages? some sort of after effect for some attacks to help make them more useful. for example, have the bite moves be high damage for single enemies, but deal long lasting damage like Slowness, and have something similar for hook but instead have it be bleeding damage.
6) the stealth ability is probably too overpowered. If it lasts a long time you could just, you know...keep spamming it everytime it goes down, and in the meantime attack while its still on. I feel like it would make fights, especially bosses, too easy.
7)Nedd bear could use a better moveset. You have other ffps characters with insanely powerful moves, and then you have him...with munchies...and esc key. I feel like a better attack move like bite 2 could at least make him a decent pick.
8)hypnosis move also could be too powerful, because like stealth it could be spammed and leave you with no character deaths after a match. Would make it sort of boring.
9)the nightmare ability for nightmare endo could have an upside, which is that your health is restored fully once you turn into a random nightmare animatronic. Could help with "saving the battle at the last minute", would make some really epic moments from it!
10)isn't the encore ability just...a normal healing ability? Its use case is a bit confusing. it "enhances" regeneration, but it depends wether you mean that it lets characters AUTO regenerate health, or if you get 2x the health from healing abilities.
I am aware the game is still in development, which is exactly why I'm bringing this stuff to your attention, as they could ruin the experience.
