You should learn another programming language other than Scratch, but not for the reason you think..
Learning JavaScript taught me a lot about how programming and code works in other languages and how different problems can be solved in unique ways. I see myself using methods and techniques I learned in JS in Scratch projects.
You should learn another language and get used to it, then come back to Scratch, and you'll notice a change in efficiency.
