We’ve just released the latest update for ZOE which includes some big improvements to how it plays.

• A new power up system lets you level up your gun, add some some bonus points to your score, or get some protection from the shield - keep an eye out for the brush appearing throughout the level to deal it some extra damage (taken off it’s health bar for the boss fight at the end of the level), and destroy the chain of enemies it leaves behind to trigger the power up drops.

• The current level has been redesigned around the power up mechanics, upping the enemy count so you can blast them away with your souped up gun!

• A new time based score multiplier will now be added to your multiplier total (along with your % clear) at the end of the level.

• Player hit feedback is now much improved with a little hit pause and some exclamations from Zoe!

• There are some new sounds added, mostly placeholder for now, but it’s feeling much better already

• Lots of other minor tweaks to player variables, menus, enemies etc

We’ve also set up a feedback form if you’d like to let us know what you think, a mailing list if you want to receive (probably fairly irregular) emails about ZOE , and our Discord server is up and running - say hello and post your high scores!
