My name is Andrea Demetrio. I am a former particle physicist - now full time software developer - who started coding with RPG Maker XP about ten years ago and never stopped ;) When I started, I was interested in creating new battle engines and expanding the concept of RPG to even highest levels... but now, I'm more on my way to build a good fighting game!
I am a sort of "Jack of all Trades / Master of Some" (plot writing: good; graphics and drawings: fair; music: fair; coding: really good).
In 2013, I worked as additional character designer, 2D artist and music composerfor the game "CogFactory!", published by InerziaSoft for Windows Phone.
In the same year, I built my own first complete game, a shoot'em up/danmaku named ENiGMA - Enemy Interception Genetically Modified Airforce (play it here!), coded in RPG Maker XP and inspired by the countless hours spent trying to beat Aero Fighters 2 at my local arcade.
in 2015, I have translated a RPG Maker VXAce API for GameJolt achievements from RGSS3 to RGSS, making it compatible with both RPG Maker XP games and Pokémon Essentials.
My latest work has been Schwarzerblitz (available here and also for free on Steam), the 3D fighting game I was planning to build since I was ten years old!
I'm mainly interested in RPGs, visual novels, fighting games, hack'n'slash games, and point-and-click adventures. I usually do not play many first person shooters - but I'm always ready to change my mind if I find something valuable :D

Schwarzerblitz v 1.4.6 is out! New costumes, a new stage and bug fixes!



Schwarzerblitz was featured as a Mystery Game in the Frosty Faustings 14 tournament in Chicago! To celebrate this, a new official Arkaneis skin (+ a new stage) will be added as a free update on 16th February 2022!

The borderless window bug has been isolated: I forgot to remove an old option, which activated a vestigial renderer setting that caused this. To fix it: open config/options.ini with notepad and replace 1 under Allow_Lights with 0 (see pic)

Loading...I have received a bug report concerning the new alpha: texture glitches only when playing the game in borderless window mode. The bug is under investigation, please play full screen or windowed in the meanwhile.

24 hours to the cat-astrophe.
Everything should be settled for the next Motionsickness release. If all goes according to plan, I will release the Karin update to the public next Saturday! Crossing fingers...

I am preparing a new build for January 2022, with moveset updates, improvement on the input buffer and fully playable Karin and Lilith X! Still some kinks to line up here and there, but the timeline looks solid!
