What should I do about the console generation issue?

kind of cringe but im delaying this for another week tops, there is stuff i want to add but didnt finish in time lmao

So I've hit a road block again. It's the issue of making it for both old and new 3DS consoles. Running it in an emulator that emulates the original 3DS will just crash. I'll post a poll on what I should do in a little bit. If anyone can help, please do!
