INFECTION is a third person zombie shooter where you shoot zombies from a pixel invasion.
THE STORY SO FAR...
an evil scientist that wanted to secretly rule the world, created a product called purple chicken. but it was not normal... you see, when the typical, normal human eats the purple chicken, he turns into a zombie that follows the evil scientist's orders. however, the four people did not want the purple chicken. when the four people saw the zombies outside their doorstep, they had mixed reactions. but one of the four humans was smart and found a cure, he contacted the four people by an amber alert, and gave the cure to all four. they must shoot the zombies with the cure, to heal them.
ABOUT THE FOUR HUMANS....
the four humans orange, purple, blue, and green are the group of humans who did not buy the purple chicken. but the humans were different, orange is color blind, green is dyslexic, purple speaks Japanese (nothing else) and blue is smart, but has slow reaction time.
WHATS DIFFERENT FROM MOST ZOMBIE SHOOTERS?....
1. well at the end of each level, there's going to be a minigame that you can unlock. you can play any minigame in the menu. or just play the game mode that's similar to warioware.
2. when you get hit, you're going to get pixelized. but that's where the pixel meter comes in. when you get hit, a pixel meter comes up that tells you how pixelized you are. if your too pixelized, you die.
3. now, you may be wondering, how does health work? I'm going to bring up the pixel meter again, but you get healed by playing the game. the pixel meter goes up every second. when you get hit, it will go down, then up. if the pixel meter is filled, you get a life back. just don't get hit lol.
4. the games totally free to play. sure, merch is going to cost money, but it's cheap. it's not 50 dollars for a shirt, ok?
5. event game modes, but you don't have to grind for them. just log on and you have the option to archive the game mode. when you archive it, the game mode saves it to play it later, or anytime.

Q. is there going to be skins to unlock?
A. yes, but you have to play the game to get them, no pay involved. i will try to make the game less exclusive as possible.
Q. is there a battlepass?
A. no. I want to make the game less exclusive as possible. plus, I don't really like games where you have to grind in a certain time for an event, or its gone. WE HAVE LIVES OUTSIDE GAMES TOO!! so yeah no.
Q. is there going to be colabs?
A. BOY I SURE HOPE! it will be cool to have creator game modes and stuff, but that's up to the creators of gamejolt.
Q. when the full game comes out, will it get updates?
A. yes.
