This is a dedicated space for fans, and enthusiasts passionate about uncovering and discussing media that has been lost, forgotten, or remains elusive. Whether it's rare videos, hidden games, obscure music, or mysterious internet content.

  1. Please be respectful:

    We aim to have a welcoming and fun community, so please remain respectful of each other.

  2. This community is for lost media ONLY. No unidentified media allowed:

    All posts should be relevant to discussions of known documented* lost media, ”Documented" meaning at least one other anecdotal sighting, a record of it existing, or other people searching. No unidentified media allowed.

  3. Low Effort:

    High-quality posts are often posts where the person has done their homework and research, A summary of the media in question, allowing people to become familiar with it and the case without having to leave reddit for that information. This can include dates such as when it was lost or made, who made it, and the current situation. Don’t presume the reader is already aware prior to the post.

  4. Medias that are not allowed:

    The following types of media are banned on the community are: 'Police evidence', or illegal media, Media which contains harm to animals, Includes harm/exploitation of minors, and Sexually explicit media without the persons consent.

  5. No political, current affairs, or religious discussion:

    No discussing/debating politics, religion, or current news worthy affairs, Suppose someone asks for lost media related to these subjects. In that case, you may discuss things related to the media's existence, but do not discuss/debate about the political, current affairs, or religious, message.

  6. Other Violations:

    Sexism, racism, LGBT-phobia, personal attacks, doxing, harassment, hate speech, etc are not tolerated. This is a place we would like EVERYONE to feel welcome, as such violation of this will result in a warning followed by a ban.

This is all the rules. Make sure to be respectful to others.

Types of lost media:

[Partially Lost] For lost media which is partially lost or partially found.

[Fully Lost] For media which is fully lost.

[Unreleased Media] For media which was never released to the general public, as an example storyboards.

[Archival] For discussion of archiving media.

[Found] For media which has been found and is no longer lost.
