We know you probably have a ton of questions about our game. That's why there's a FAQ to answer all of them!

Q&A

Q: Will there be more CHARActers that aren't already in the canon game?
A: Nondev OCs? Cannot confirm nor deny.

Q: Has this game been made from an original AU?
A: As a matter of fact, YES! This idea of this game was made by US, the team members. It's completely original! : )

Q: Are there going to be different routes other than the original Undertale ones?
A: Not really. There may be slight differences depending on who and what you kill, but there are 3 main arcs you can complete. Pacifist, Nuetral, Genocide. But who's to say at this point

Q: What does the clock tower do? What does it come from?
A: That would spoil everything, including half the adventure in the game. What we can say, however, is that it is slowly killing off the monsters, and it's our fault.

Q: I am good at (coding/composing/storywriting) but I have no money!
A: Team Timeline does not promot piracy

Q: Will this game be free?
A: Yes, of course! Due to the fact that we're just making this for fun and copyright reasons, it'll be totally free when it comes out for the public.

Q: Will this game come out in different languages?
A: Yes, the game will have different versions varying on language. While we don't have a complete idea of what languages the game will be translated to, we have agreed that the game will come out in a language other than English.

Q: Will Clocktale come out on a program version other than Windows?
A: YES! As of 9/25/2016, Clocktale will come out on Mac and Linux as well.

Q: Will this game have voice acting?
A: Again, this depends on the amount of members we have, as there is a wide variety of Undertale characters. If we have enough team members, then we might consider it.

Q: Will there be a soundtrack for this game?
A: Of course! What's an Undertale fan-game without a soundtrack?

Q: How often will the devlog be updated?
A: We will try to update our devlog as much as we can. We can't make promises, though. I mean, we can, but we won't keep them.

Q: You're copying Team Spritedgy/Switched!
A: Actually, pretty much everyone on our member list is from Team Spritedgy/Switched. You could consider this a side project. Additionally, all teams use a discord, give their team a name, make a game. It's just a thing game making teams do.

Q: When'll the game be out?
A: We have no idea. We'll mostly take our time, but we'll go as fast as possible to release a demo.

Q: Isn't this one of those fake Undertale fan-games that'll literally never come out?
A: Yes No. We are working on it.
