I was looking for an opportunity to design serious games for a while. I consulted with several occupational therapists to familiarize myself with the games used in occupational therapy with children. One of them, who was aware of my enthusiasm, pointed out the lack of suitable AAC games for Persian-speaking children.
My AAC game, Acefa, is designed to help children with communication difficulties develop their language and social skills through interactive gameplay.
The program doesn't have the typical challenges and target audience of a regular game design, but its implementation aligns with my values and presents reasonable challenges for me.
