Not scary at all. The music made the game easy to get through without being scared.
Honestly the keys were really hard to find, and I think there should've been more to the gameplay like an "unlock" puzzle or maybe an NPC/Monster that would chase you.
Other than that it's a pretty decent game.

Akui plays in the D.O.A.S. universe ( https://gamejolt.com/games/doas/333276 ). It is a mystery/horror short, that was published earlier this year, but since I closed my other account, you can find akui here in a revised form. Some bugs and errors in content have been fixed. Have fun.
Akui was planned as a teaser for a bigger project. - Thank you Captain Obvious. - Unfortunately this year fu**ed everything up, so I decided to make a stand-alone out of it. I just did not want to throw the result away. Hopefully I can make a full release sometime.

Akui will have puzzles, monster dodging and a slightly maze-like design.
