so basically robotnik was searching for a chaos emerald but while trying to detect one in marble zone he detected another energy

So he called all his bots to they dig because the energy was coming from the ground

Some hours after that tails also detected this energy but he didn't know from where it came from so sonic him and knuckles started searching it

after sometime tails found the energy and since sonic's the nearest tails told him the coordinates and stuff so sonic was gone for it while tails goes to the flying island to take knuckles
