Merry Christmas, Hakurei Shrine. I won a foreign auction a few months ago for what was supposedly a beta version of what was supposed to be Imperishable Night. When I received it, I was met with a pile of scrambled and unmarked data on a shady-looking CD. Mind you all, this beta has no name referenced in any of the files, so I've been referring to it as "Touhou 2004" or " '04 " for short.
No matter. I've managed to recover the first stage of the game. It's a vastly different game compared to what became Imperishable Night, so I feel it even more important to get what I can of this game out to the public. I've only slightly modified it from its original state for the sake of consistency. You can download it here.
