Merry Christmas, Hakurei Shrine. I won a foreign auction a few months ago for what was supposedly a beta version of what was supposed to be Imperishable Night. When I received it, I was met with a pile of scrambled and unmarked data on a shady-looking CD. Mind you all, this beta has no name referenced in any of the files, so I've been referring to it as "Touhou 2004" or " '04 " for short.
No matter. I've managed to recover the first stage of the game. It's a vastly different game compared to what became Imperishable Night, so I feel it even more important to get what I can of this game out to the public. I've only slightly modified it from its original state for the sake of consistency. You can download it here.

Version 1.1 is out, we changed some things:
Reduced the player hitbox
Fixed an input bug
Changed some hitboxes
Marisa now has two lives instead of one, this should make the game less frustrating
Have fun.
Version 1.0.2 of the game is out, first hotfix of the day
It fixes the crashing issues mentioned
For the nine of you that have the build right now, if your executable has garbage text in its title, DELETE THOSE so that the game will work

The issue is in how it processes the video and or folder for some reason. Make sure you play it from the standalone zip file and have an average-at-least PC
