What is Hailsgarth;Resistence? Well if I had to quickly describe it in a one sentence pitch, Hailsgarth;Resistence is a turn based strategy rpg inspired heavily by XCom's gameplay, Valkyria Chronicles's aesthetics, and Fire Emblem's mechanics and social interactions.

  • Over 30 different maps to conquer, the length of a playthrough should be around - 15~18 hours.

  • Mix and match your squad by choosing from 4 different types of classes, each one excelling in certain tasks.

  • Choose how each unit will improve by spending skill points to raise the unit's Attack, Defense, Hit Rate, Critical Hit Rate or Dodge Chance.

  • Unlock your squadmates ability's by spending time talking with them between missions.

  • Every member of your unit is unique, no generic playable units.

  • Perma-death can be toggled on or off depending on your liking.

The story will center on Vincent Lane, as the war between Tervia and Hailsgarth rages on, he is forced to enlist into the Hailsgarth Militia, setting into motion a chain of events that no one could predict, but he is not alone, joined by his childhood friend Chloe, they will take this conflict by storm.

The gameplay is like most Turn Based Strategy Rpg's, moving your units across the battlefield, and attack, defend, or heal depending on the situation to claim victory, at the moment the only victory condition is to eliminate all enemy units

This is a one man project, so don't expect the development to be quick, but I'll try to update once a week.
