Healthy Habitats
I created this game to bring continued awareness to the importance of preserving the natural environment and all the species of the world who are at risk of extinction through habitat loss, illegal poaching, pollution, over exploitation, and other serious threats to their existence. One of the strategies that I learned about during my research is called Healthy Habitats and that is why I named my game the same title....also it matched the game I made last year called Healthy Habits. The goal of my game is to show that we can create sanctuaries and nature preserves that are large enough in size that can protect endangered species. My hope is that those that play my game are inspired to make financial donations to build or visit these nature preserves or visit them and volunteer to help maintain them. Below are some links to the research that I conducted in preparation to making the game.
