What do you think?

This is a fantastic intepretation of Battle Royale and it's a fun game! Well done! (I suck at Simon)

This was really really good! Would love to see a full game with more puzzles!

Welcome to The Labyrinth of the Cerebellum contestant;
10 Seconds after this message ends you as well as 19 other contenders will be expected to complete puzzles within the allotted time else you face one of a multitude of demoralizing deaths to be broadcast for all to see! You will be supplied with a cake between each floor. Happy Trails!

In the deep, dark corners of the internet lives a show that puts contestants in a battle of last one standing. Do you have what it takes to make it out alive?

Gameplay:

Solve puzzles to make it past each floor alive with new mechanics and challenges every time. The Goal? Make it through each floor without dying and the last contestant alive "wins!"

Developer Notes:

This was made during & for the #dreamhackatlantajam

The Theme for this jam was 'Single Player Battle Royal' but we didn't want to just make another PUBG/Fortnite style game so after thinking about it for awhile we came up with an idea that used the core ideas of what a Battle Royal is while not just using the obvious meaning.
The Idea was for an escape room style game where instead of directly fighting your opponents it's more about being the last survivor of the deadly puzzles.
The parts we are using from Battle Royal are

  • 1: Last one standing.

  • 2: Its fit for 'royalty' to watch.

Today was the first day of DreamHack Atlanta 2018, It has been a awesome walking around and seeing all the stuff. Plus I got to meet some other indie game developers!

Last night I was looking on the Game Jolt Discord and saw the winners were announced, I looked and saw this game got 3rd!!! Thank you so much, and congratulations to the other winners!

Well the jam has ended and I learned a lot for this experience.

It's time to look back over the days and see what went right and what went wrong, Here is my post mortem of Labyrinth of the cerebellum.

I was barely able to get the game uploaded in time, and I wasn't able to test it before uploading, I have now tested it and found on the last level I had left a SINGLE bool turned off for development and it means you skip most of the level...

I got a pretty good amount done today allowing me to do whatever tomorrow because all the core mechanics are complete, or at least for the scale of this project. So i'll probably add another level or two,
The project still needs a name as well.
