i have played throught the game and i thought that it was very nice,
sure there were some problems like the door in bullet man's stage and the fact that the levels are a bit hard on the eyes, but all i can say is...
good luck on finishing this amazing project

The maps could get some graphic improvement, because sometimes it's just way too confusing. Since the game is based on a monochromatic game whose colors worked in a platformer, reusing then in a game with vision-from-above didn't work nearly as good, but that's about it for the technicality issues! Really liked the music, cool animations, pretty solid storytelling and it's REALLY fun! Not way too long or anything and it almost never gets boring... Could add better enemy variety thou.
I really liked the design choices, but I would recommend having the third character available more times. It's nice to play as him. Maybe try giving those non-mass-produced items more variety than just than all of them behaving all the same? I like the references on the descriptions of them at least. More problems I have is that the exploring is very unrewarding, since no good items are found that way.
The biggest problem BY FAR is the balancing. 95% of the campaign is WAY too easy, and I don't mean the enemies/bosses are weak or the characters are way too overpowered by standard, it's just that those upgrade chips break the game. They are SO cheap and adding some of them to either character is enough to be almost undefeatable. Please make them rarer or at least much more expensive to buy: 400~500Bolts would be good, I believe.
The difficulty spike between the second-to-last and the final battle is way too harsh as well: I couldn't even get scratched or had any trouble fighting basically anything(besides that really unexpected battle on the beggining of the final dungeon-- Really cool.) after half of the game, then on the final boss I managed to almost lose(didn't need to heal once, but still).

Wonderful experience. Glad that this exists, even for such a forgotten game. I miss a Megaman V(GB) RPG like this one. Great work, you nailed it!

I appreciated both stories as much as I can could and I want to say: Congratulations, you did an awesome job. I already stated my problems with the first game, but this one, which is only an interactive movie, did it's job wonderfully, afterall, your storytelling abilities are exceptional. I'm delighted.

Plot

A malicious robot gang going by the name "The Dimensions", led by a mysterious robot named Shadow is attacking cities! Who is this Shadow? Why is he hurting innocent people?! And why does he seem so familiar? Join Mega Man & Bass on their adventure as they fight the evil servants of the mysterious Shadow!

About the game

MegaMan RPG: Challenger from the Future is an RPG game made using the RPG Maker VX Ace engine and is based on the obscure Japanese-only Wonderswan game and sequel to Rockman & Forte: "Rockman & Forte: Mirai Kara no Chousensha"

Play as Mega Man and Bass as you challenge the many members of the Dimensions and make your way through their dangerous lairs! Along the way, you'll find many other smaller enemies that you will have to deal with, and maybe you'll see some familiar allies? All the while trying to figure out what this mysterious Shadow is all about!

A new demo has been released. I've managed to halve the game's size. This new demo changes some aspects of the story and makes the game less difficult to look at. There is also a "skip prologue" button now.

Sorry that the Discord server is down. There are some things going on I'd rather not discuss. I'm working on this game a little bit every now and then but nothing significant is being made at the moment.

Development is on hold.

Development is back on but it's going to be pretty slow.
