Just some CC of what I got from playing. It seems a bit much to add grinding areas, since that completely destroys the balance of the whole game. Especially being able to get so much cola and jerky, which makes things incredibly easy since they're full sp restores for both Alex and Joel. It eliminates the need for managing items and sorta destroys game balance.
Also, you should take some time to practice using events and coding them. Because looking through what's added it seems impossible to see the new scene. Keep practicing dude.

Minor name change
Oopsie Poopsie. I made a mistake.
Woopie an update. It barely changes anything.
-Nerfed Shadowy Figure drops.
-Gave more hints for the secret flashback.
-Scarlet valley changes more as you progress.
-Minor changes to dialog boxes.
-Some enemy changes.
-Made Byan easier to find.
