What do you think?

it don't launches on gamejolt client

So, I played this game, expecting...well, if i'm being honest, pure garbage due to seeing that, well, it kinda looks like a furry game (Not that there is anything wrong with that genre, just usually a handful of things aren't great), but I was pleasantly surprised. This game was actually quite fun. Unsure if this is just a demo at the moment, the game could use a bit more work, like...well, the sound when you die. I was expecting a game over sound, and I got a sound that sounded like it was from a Rip Off Indian Bootleg, by just saying "Die".

But I did like the cute sprites and such, and even the neat Easter Eggs I found in some of the signs of the first level.

Overall, this is a pretty good game. Good Job, Nova.

hi nova

Nova the Squirrel is a brand new platformer game for the Nintendo Entertainment System, playable in an emulator (such as Mesen) or on a flashcart such as RetroUSB's PowerPak.

Explore 33 levels and fight 7 bosses across five different worlds in an attempt to save the world of Latte from the evil "Scheme Team".

  • Copy the abilities of your enemies. (10 in all!)

  • Over 35 different types of enemies, plus variants.

  • Interesting puzzle mechanics.

  • Fancy soundtrack full of effects, by Vuurniac Squarewave.

  • Modern design: no lives or time limits, tons of checkpoints.

  • A collectible in every stage for those wanting a challenge.

  • Bonus challenge levels and time trial mode after the main game.

  • Multiplayer minigames: Double Action Blaster Guys and Squirrel Domino.

  • Full level editor with 5 slots (requires an emulator with NES 2.0 support).

I got payment set up

I got my marketplace account set up and I’ve switched the game to pay-what-you-want, so if you would like to support me then go ahead!

It's done!

I guess in forgetting to actually post very many updates here I accidentally completed the whole game, oops! I hope you all like it.

Development updates are elsewhere
