rom hacks. just make a rom hack of the original smash bros for the n64, add 2d textures and boom
Well, I played super smash bros and I played undertale. I looked online for crossovers but there were only unfinished games and devlogs. Then I got into unity. So things clicked, and I began production, on, behold, a finished crossover.
Things that will be included:
-ITS FREE!!!
-Pixel graphics! (actually a bad thing, but I am a bad 3d renderer)
-Many, many characters, including some non-mains such as Annoying Dog, Temmie, Chara, Gaster, and Asriel, and possibly some AU's.
-Stages!
-New set of items, and final smashes!
-Much more to come.
-It will have easter eggs.
-Maybe a campaign.
-Did I mention easter eggs?
A side note: I am not a person who will stay with a project very long. This probably wont ever be finished. But, I am also a person who likes demos. I will release a demo within the next two months.
A side side not: I am not the most experienced with unity. I am having problems already with animations (why wont unity take a gif?), and with COM's (how do people even make such complex AI for this?). If anyone wants to help, feel free to comment, but I will not meet in person, nor am I willing to spend money on this project. If someone would, like, do a collab project on unity, great!

I haven’t made a devlog in a whole 5 days.
I’ve been caught drowning in game news, fan games, coding, bugs, and a few copyrighted sprites.
Can somebody throw me a lifeline?
Who wants a super basic demo release like within 2019. I think I can get like a basic demo with limited characters maps and modes out within that time.
Plus if I do I will make some early give away to whoever comments first on a new devlog.
I’m gonna take a break now cause I want to focus on working on the game. Who wants special bosses who do not unlock any characters.
Day 18.
New Map.
Ruins! Based off the view of home given left of Toriels house, this map is simple. Three platforms, two higher than one, each pillar style. They go off screen, and characters can grab onto the sides of each pillar.
