What do you think?

Hello Dave, i would like to say that this game is absolutely fantastic, its really fun to play and very well made, you did a great job on this one

the 1.1 update is fucking amazing. and i've only noticed one bug. the creeper actually got stuck on the clown map and he wasnt spawning at all. until i found him squished like a pancake near a tent. other then that this update is GREAT

Hello! I played Scooby Horror: Arcade, and recently finished all the achievements. I have really enjoyed this game, and plan to continue to play it!

I did find things:

BUGS:

When you press the "W" key to walk during the opening cutscene for any of the maps, the screen will shake as though you are walking. You are not moving anywhere.

You can turn your flashlight on during the opening cutscene for any of the maps. Pressing "F" during the main menu also plays the flashlight sound effect.

After you vault through the window on the back of the Joe Brothers' Farmhouse, the game will allow you to vault through from the outside. Doing so will just teleport you to the spot outside you just were.

If you click to place down a trap at the same time as being killed by a monster, the trap ceases to exist. The sound effects for its completion still happen, but the trap is not located anywhere on the map. You also can't get into the Mystery Machine to get a new one, effectively soft locking the game.

When you go in one of the houses in The Grounds of Mano Tiki Tia after Mano Tiki Tia has seen you, it'll just stay in front of the house. You can't leave without dying, and it can't get you while you are in there. This ends up just being a staring contest until the Witch Doctor sees you through a window. This might be a feature, but I wanted to share.

The clue detector might be broken. It comes out for a few seconds, beeps once or twice, then goes back down almost immediately. It is then gone and cannot be used again that round.

THINGS THAT MIGHT BE NICE TO HAVE BUT AREN'T NECESSARY:

It'd be nice to know what maps I've already gotten S tier on.

It would help to be able to turn off particles on the Joe Brothers' Farm map. The map is very large and can be slightly laggy in some areas.

A more visible border at the edges of Joe Brothers' Farm would be helpful, especially for players who don't know the map as well.

FUN TIDBITS I NOTICED WHILE PLAYING:

You can run out of sprint in the Monster Gallery. It takes a while, and there's no reason to, but you can.

Charlie the Robot is the only monster in the Gallery that doesn't reveal who the bad guy of his episode is.

Mano Tiki Tia is the only monster in the Gallery that does not have a description.

You cannot use gadgets on the Tutorial level, so don't even try.

The painting of a large golden mask in several of the maps is from "Mystery Mask Mix-Up", one of the original Scooby Doo episodes.

The Underground City of Tar and the Tar Monster are the only map/monster not from the original Scooby Doo Where Are You.

I think the mansion on the Title Menu of the game is a reference to something, but I can't figure out what exactly.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

I really love this game. The maps all look incredible, as do all of the monsters. I really love how you kept the feel of the original Scooby Doo show, but put your own spin on it. The wealth of content and mechanics really makes the game an enjoyable and replayable experience. I have been excited for this game for a while, and it lives up to all of the extreme expectations I made up in my head. Thank you for making this game!

does anyone know where the monster token is on lvl 3 rocky point beach is, i can not find it to save the life of me?

i don't know if it's just me, but while the game itself is good and has potential, the monsters feel almost omniscent

no matter where i go it's always in my general location as if it has some hyper sensitive noise listening mechanic, and the monster has an fov that has it see me from what should be a long distance

i want to love this game, but it just feels like the monster is a slendytubbies one tinky winky that always knows where i am but just acts like it isnt actively chasing me

The final installment to the Scooby Horror series is here! Boasting a ton of content to explore and everything you could've ever wanted from one of these games, I'll tell you what.

Honestly, this game took way longer to finish than I initially thought. I was planning on getting this out during the month of Scoobtober, but went the extra mile and added double the maps and enemies, since it felt pretty lackluster and unfinished. Glad to finally have this project done, it was something I had in the backburner for a few years, but I'm pretty proud with how it turned out. Anyway, have fun and I hope you enjoy this silly fangame!

Features:

  • Explore various locations and unmask all sorts of kooky villains based off of 15 classic Scooby Doo episodes.

  • Buy upgrades with the Scooby Snacks you collect throughout your journey.

  • Unlock perks and gadgets to give yourself an edge when you're out solving mysteries.

  • Build traps and do whatever you must to capture and unmask the creep that stalks you.

  • Tons of unlockables and achievements to get for the completionist in you!

This is a non-profit fangame/parody game. It was merely made for fun and to originally celebrate Scoobtober, a month dedicated to Scooby Doo and our love for the show and it's characters. #fangame #horror #arcade
