What do you think?

I notice the description says some unused content was restored. Can you tell me which?

Hello! Baby has been returned to the "Game Over" screen and the unused Ballora sprite in Main Hub is now used on Night 2

FNaF Sister Location: Quality of Life Mod

Version: 1.0.113 days ago

This is a Quality of Life Mod for Sister Location. The original game has some weaknesses, which I've tried to address.

v1.0.0

1. Checkpoints. The game now saves your progress at the start of each room and writes it to a save file. You no longer have to replay the most of the night if you quit. Instead, the game keeps your progress. The exceptions are Ballora Gallery and Funtime Auditorium, as these sections rely heavily on global variables under various conditions. Saving the state of every single variable upon re-entering would be too complex. And if you happen to dig into the save file and change something that causes a softlock, go to "Settings" to delete the checkpoints.

2. Proper Pause Menu. The original game lacked a pause function, which was very inconvenient for streamers or if another application accidentally popped up while Sister Location was open. Now, by pressing the "P" key, the game will pause, allowing you to attend to other matters.

3. Reworked Exit UI. The exit process has been redesigned. To close the game, you now need to hold down the "Escape" key. You'll see the progress in the top-left corner of the screen.

4. Skip Certain Dialogues. Unfortunately, because many of the voice lines have the "Uninterruptable" flag set, I couldn't implement a skip function in the Main Hub. Removing this flag is possible, but I feel Scott might have had a reason for it, and removing it could potentially break something. However, the skip key works reliably in the Elevator and during Night 4.

5. Night 4. The only change in the post-patch version of the original game was reducing the number of times you need to shake off the Minireenas from 5 to 4, which barely affected the night's difficulty. So, I decided to split Night 4 into multiple difficulty levels.

Easy: For players who just want to experience the story. My friend was unfamiliar with FNaF and hadn't watched any Sister Location playthroughs and beat it on his 5th try without using a timer. That says a lot about how much more approachable the night has become for newcomers.

Normal: For fans of the post-patch Night 4 experience.

Hard: For fans of the pre-patch Night 4 difficulty. I also added a little something of my own to the Hard difficulty.

6. Replay Mode. One thing I love about Help Wanted is being able to pick any minigame you want. So, a Replay Mode has been added to the "Extras" menu. This lets you replay specific sections without having to go through the entire game or night again. Progress made in Replay Mode should not affect your main save files. If it does, please let me know.

7. Restoration of Some Unused Content.
