hehehe great game! This game here is definitely gonna be one to look out for to win the jam!

Just beat my old score and managed to reach 170,790! I love this game and I think this is easily in the top 10 jam entries, and hopefully top 3! The art is beautiful and is reminiscent of old-school Mario/Kirby games.

The gameplay is simple to pick up but deep enough that you can learn new strategies and increase your score each time you play. I love the ring boost power-up, and the ability to fly through multiple speed arrows to keep your run going. The "star power" invincibility mode is really great too. This is just a ton of fun to play, and an extremely well-made game!

Yeah, so I kinda played for a long long while.

Obviously I haven't played all 900 odd entries but this one stands out to me immediately as a contender for the whole jam. I feel that the game play has that simplicity that is easy to pick up and jump into while also feeling incredibly stratifying to play. The weapon alone is fun to use but when you add the power ups, especially the ring, it gets taken to a whole other level. I personally found the game to be on the easy side, which I think is better than being frustratingly difficult especially for a jam game. I decided to stop at a million points because I knew I could end up playing all night and while that sounds like fun, it probably isn't the healthiest thing to do. I was confused for a second when I didn't die at 0 hearts but had to take an extra hit but that's a really minor thing. As you can tell, I really enjoyed this one and congrats on making a great game! -Hokori

The attack of the ship was surprising! I thought it was going to be a regular laser or something, but it was not! Great job!

Really, really good job on this one! It feels like a complete package, with polish and all, and a fun package nonetheless.

The main weapon is very cool and feels balanced. I like how hitting things brings it back faster and missing causes it to come back slowly, rewarding skilled players for accurate hits and penalizing spamming it. The ring powerup is very fun, simple, and satisfying to use. I also liked those times where the entire level was filled with booster pads and I just rode them to the next wormhole.

All the galaxies seemed very distinct and unique, with my favorite being the bubbly water one with the jellies.

The one thing I would change would be to make the difficulty scaling quicker. I didn't feel very challenged or endangered while playing, and even when I did take damage there was plentiful health. This is the same thing I would change with my game, too, but I also understand if you want the player to have a more chill experience, or didn't want it to scale unfairly. Perhaps having a zen mode and an arcade mode could fill both voids?
