I really like the typing upgrade concept, its pretty unique, adds a risk/reward for upgrades. It would be nice to have the upgrade words pop out in game, so I don't have to memorize the upgrades (although I understand if you want the player to "find" the word by experimenting). I thought it was pretty funny adding swear words, hehe. I wonder how many you ending up putting in the game... 
UFO Typing Adventure
A simple Typing game for the opera GX game jam. The idea came to me only 2 days before the end, so the game is unfinished and needs polishing.
The game is based on the idea of typing to upgrade. Yoy begin with a weak gun and can later upgrade to a powerful laser or destroy all enemies on screen with a powerful explosion.
Just write a word, and watch out, when you press backspace, the letter gets destroyed, so no mistakes!
