```The story begins in a Genocide Run. Frisk has just been killed for the 38th time, but Sans manages to absorb their soul before they could load their SAVE file. Seeing his chance to fix this, Sans resets.

The following events happen in a blur; a menu appears, accompanied by an image of Snowdin in the background and a calm, friendly song that seems rather familiar... Sans awakens to find himself on his mattress, as if those horrible events had never happened. He'd be somewhat overwhelmed by the experience, having never been on the other end of a reset before. Then, the realization set in; he remembered everything. As he gathered his thoughts, he felt a sharp tremor of pain echo throughout his body from the stolen human soul, as he gets a strange vision: a bed of golden flowers, surrounded by hard rock.

Above us lies a gargantuan hole, too steep to ever climb out of. Sans would soon realize that must've been Frisk, who had just fallen into the Ruins. As he felt his newfound power coursing throughout his body, Sans would realize that he was the only one who could possibly stop Frisk from killing everyone now.

At this point, the game offers you a chance to pick "Yes" or "No". Selecting the "No" option results in a series of quick cutscenes playing, the final one showing Frisk striking Sans down, before looking towards you with a psychotic grin, as a wall of 9's fills the screen, and the game closes.

However, if you pick "Yes", Sans will stand up, smiling wider than before as he looks towards the screen, his left eye flashing between light blue and yellow, as his right eye glows a solid, crimson red...```
