I like the style of your game.
The reason I gave a "MEH" is, because the CONTROLS are to clumsy. The collision didn't always work. As when I first started it. I almost got stuck on the first jump. The game also starts off to hard, BUT this could be the reason, because of the clumsy controls.
Another thing, when you look at the controls when opening the game, the controls aren't correct from what it says it should be, WASD to move and SPACE to jump didn't work. I also couldn't attack, I'm not sure if this gets activated in a later stage of the game. The ARROW keys worked good.
Overall, I recommend to fix the controls. To make the game a bit easier in the start. And when times go on make it harder. So the players can get used to it.
The last thing when opening the game, your sprites for the menu buttons are blurry, so I would recommend making it sharper.
