Undertale Purple - Perseverance Revival

Undertale Purple is an upcoming Undertale fangame by Studio Restart where you play as the purple soul. Perseverance Revival is the name of the project aiming to restore some of the main concepts of Team Perseverance's original fangame (2017), and restart its development.

Some concepts, characters, story beats and general ideas from the original project will not return, but many of the core concepts will remain the same. Stay tuned for a more concrete update soon.

Genus, a human given the instruction to investigate possible new life forms near Mt. Ebott, climbs down into the Underground, unaware of the journey that he is about to have.

This game is the 4th instalment of an Undertale Fan Game Series. Check out the prequels and sequel:

Some New Features:

Notebook Entries: Using his Diary Notebook, Genus writes entries whenever he experiences an important part of the game, giving insight to what he is thinking about certain situations and characters.

Spells: Using Perseverance, Genus will be able to cast spells that have many varying effects. The better Genus' Perseverance is, the more spells he learns. His notebook also serves as a spellbook.

Different Attacking Engine: Instead of one rectangle with a line indicating the power of the attack, there will be three rectangles, meaning you'll have three chances to get a perfect attack. (This is practically like having the ballet shoes equipped, but whatever.)

Taking Pictures: Genus' phone will be able to take pictures of the monsters that he encounters. Doing this will add those monsters to Genus' notebook, with information about the monsters and their full-colour sprites. Collect all the sprites in your notebook, and a reward will be waiting...

Party Members: Party Members will be a new introduction in UTP, where at certain points of the game, monsters will join your adventure to aid you. The only monsters that we know are definitely going to be party members as of now are Sans and Undyne. All of these and many other new features, coming soon!

Undertale was created and is owned by Toby Fox. We are in no way claiming to be Toby, our god of games, or that this is an official prequel, as it isn't.

FAQ:

When will the game release? A: No idea. Don't ask.

Which main characters from UT will be in this? A: Sans, Undyne, Alphys, Toriel, Asgore and Gaster will be in this game. Otherwise, no other main characters.

Is this really the prequel to Team LV's Undertale Green? A: Yes, it is. Me and Pure LV have sorted it out, don't worry. We know what we're doing.

Why is this a sequel as well?! A: Why not? It'd make these fan games that much more enjoyable, having a little series of games that are linked. If you want to play them in order, it goes Undertale Cyan, Undertale Orange, Undertale Blue, Undertale Purple, and then Undertale Green. Thank me when the games come out.

Your Twitter account was suspended?! A: I still have no idea why we got suspended, but don't worry, it's all been sorted now. No more alerts about suspension.

You're using Jeffrey Watkins' music! A: We got permission specifically from him to use his song, so don't get triggered please.

" I've made a decision. I'm cancelling Undertale: Purple Multiplayer Demo Update 3. Also, removing all builds of UTP Multiplayer on the page. And removing all devlogs related to it, and removing all videos on the YouTube channel about it. The point is, it started with Don't Forget making multiplayer undertale, and everyone started taking the idea. For gods sake, most people are USING RickyG's engine to make it, so basically it's the same multiplayer engine in general! So, the point is, no more Undertale: Purple Multiplayer. We havent made ANY progress on the real game yet, and this is just getting in the way. The point is, no more UTP Multiplayer. Thank you all for the support you've given me."
