What do you think?

Beautiful animatronics, you did a good job on them!

It would be great if someone from Security Breach appeared in this game. Gregory or Vanessa, for example. Of course, that's very unlikely

Another day of randomly browsing Gamejolt in search of some new FNAF goodness, another day of reviewing. Hey, this one came out 3 days ago. Good timing.

I'll be honest and say that I wasn't expecting much from this one. While the teaser images and designs look good, the trailer was admitedly pretty goofy at times so I was a little hesitant. I'm glad I did try it out though, this was a pretty fun time.

I really like the designs of the robos here, they have a very distinct style and do hit that uncanny valley field in a good chuck of the renders. Yip was probably my favorite, can't say I was expecting old spider cat over here.

Spookiness has its ups and downs. On one spectrum you have a creepy ass black shadow appear with some disturbing face, the other you're getting killed by a dog and cat essentially "nyah"ing you to death. I personally think the main nights could do with more ambience besides just the sounds of the lamp and fan with the occasional echoing jingle in the background. The Yip minigame ambience honestly would have been perfect for the main nights with those being replaced with little to no ambience.

Mechanics are similar to Popgoes in that each animatronic has their own method of removal, but they're all pretty snappy so dealing with a horde is pretty nice to successfully do, even if it does feel like clockwork by the end of the night. Yip's mechanic is pretty odd though since she seems to just move completely random which offsets the other characters who move at steady paces towards you which can offset some stuff.

I'm actually a huge fan of the jumpscares. They all look really great in all honesty and bonus points for having unique sounds depending on who killed you. Like I said earlier, one of the jumpscares literally is the titular Yap and Yip basically going "nyah" and doing that one pose. It's pretty goofy and kinda breaks any tension the game tries to build up, but I admit it got a laugh out of me when I was scrolling through the extras menu.

Overall Yap and Yell was a surprisingly enjoyable experience. I was certainly not expecting the level of insanity the last couple of nights had which definitely upped the game a bit more. It's definitely on the, and I know I've said this a bunch, goofier side, (I want to reiterate that that isn't a bad thing) but I had a really fun time playing it and I'm pretty excited to see any future projects you may have planned. If you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend it. Honestly some of the most fun I've had with a fangame in a good while. 9/10 keep up the good work.

Edit: Completely forgot to mention this so I might as well add it before I forget again. It isn't the biggest issue in the world, but I'm not the biggest fans on fnaf games just giving you tips on what to do before throwing you in the meat of it. A phone call or even a friend messaging you or something helps create good worldbuilding. Plus, since you can only see the tips on the main menu, I ended up dying the first time on nights 3 and 4 because I had completely forgotten what to do.

I walked into this game expecting a normal, below-average fangame with the typical mechanics like most that exist, yet I was surprised just upon opening the game. The mechanics are quite original and work smoothly along with each unique enemy, the animatronics' design is absolutey stunning and a 10/10; the animations are kinda wonky but they look good, and the office is simple but interesting.

I'm on Night 4 and I can assure this game has shocked me for good.

It's fast paced and even if the story isn't directly told, the in-between pixel minigames are pretty clear. The Yip's toy minigame is fun and feels fair... unlike FNaF 4 "Fun with Plushtrap".

Over all, it's one of the best fangames I have played and would rate it a solid 9/10 due to maybe a lack of ambience, but still, "Yap and Yell" deserves much more attention.

This looks amazing!

Saldrá en algún futuro para Android??

After the recent closing of the Mega Pizza plex owned by Fazbear Entertainment, We collaborated to create a new brand for the franchise! we decided to go with a more nostalgic style, similar to the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza from the 80s, we're sure that although the mascots are new, you will still feel the same nostalgia from our old brand! Our characters were even built using what was left of some of our old animatronics, it's almost like they never left!

YAP AND YELL questions

.

I do want to let people know that Deluxe story wise, is very different from the original Yap and Yell. Especially since It will not be tied to the main FNaF story anymore, and will be its own thing.
