Will there be custom characters like in objection.lol?

I'm sorry, but the way this first public beta turned out, you REALLY should have bit the bullet and given it a delay, considering everything. I get that you wanted to release on DL-6mas, but this isn't a good first impression.
The character list is strange, and not even what you promised in the blog post (there are zero AA1 characters, one AA1 character, it's mostly JFA), I don't think there's any way to import custom music or export anything, and the load times could be better.
It's a small host of issues that gives this program a pretty bad look at first glance. But it DOES look very promising still if you stick it through and get things fixed.

1) When is it coming out?
The public beta is out right now!
2) Will it support custom assets?
You can import your own custom backgrounds, evidence, songs, and sound effects. Custom characters will arrive in a later update.
3) What platforms will it release on?
It's available on Windows, with Mac support coming in the near future.
4) Are you going to add X to the game?
If it's previously been in an Ace Attorney game, then I'll probably get to it at some point. At the moment, the game lets you create trial segments. If it hasn't previously been in an Ace Attorney game, then I have no clue.
5) What song did you use for the trailer?
I used Gyakuten Saiban 3 ~ Special Blend Mix! More specifically, the sections that play at around the 2:55 and 4:46 marks. Capcom used this song a lot while advertising the DS releases of the Phoenix Trilogy, so I felt it appropriate to use it as well.
6) Are you worried that it's going to get DMCA'd?
From what I've seen, Capcom hasn't really cared about fangames. Mega Man Maker, objection.lol, Ace Attorney Online, etc, have all existed for years without Capcom's intervention. I realize that by saying this I'm tempting the fates, but I'm not worried about a takedown notice.
7) Will there be support for exporting scenes as videos?
If enough people ask for it, it might get added in an update.
