What do you think?

This should come with a warning for epilepsy! Eheh! xD

Overall a a good puzzle game. However, if you don't mind, I'd like to provide a few suggestions.

First of all, you've done a good job at creating introductory levels to learn the basic mechanics, so I would have forgone most of the text explanations/tutorials since the gameplay speaks for itself.

Second, even though I understand the ideia behind making the player learn by failing, I believe that the impossibility to either move the explosives towards yourself (just being able to grab them), or simply have a way to re-spawn them makes for a little player frustration. You see, even if the player accidentally touches an explosive and moves too close to a wall (making impossible to reach behind it), there is nothing he can do but wait to die and retry.

Which brings me to the third issue. No checkpoints. Even in levels that are longer in nature, if the player dies he has to redo all of the level, instead of only the section he actually failed at. Which again, contributes to player frustration.

All in all, with a little less text, a few touches in the gameplay, and a little polish, this could become quite a great puzzle game. Well done!

Voted for GJFest and rated!

Hey, I like the concept, time make me feel anxious. I liked the mood too, the strange guy on this dark world, being observed. haha. But I think the character movement slide too much, is a little stressful. The labyrinth is cool, but maybe you should cut some explanations on the tutorial and let the player understand trying, hehe. But is cool, cheers! (:

Nice concept, Art and Gampley but i hated the beginning

Interesting game, a bit too much flashing... I included it in my One Game a Month October compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/jYJERW_wIUQ

Collective of Crab proudly presents Afraid

Welcome in the dark. You´ve been expected.

Maybe you are asking what are you doing here or where exactly you are, but answers to these questions are not important. Important is only here and now. And right now, it is time to accept your challenge in order to become what you really are. Overcome your fears or let it be. But if you let it be, don´t expect anything will change.

In the dark, light is your only friend. And light doesn´t lasts forever, so you´ll have to do anything what it takes to keep it shine. It is up to you.

The dark awaits you...

Controls:

WASD or ARROWS - movement
SPACE or LMB - action

Important notice

This game contains screens with fast color changes and flashing. Although it is a part of the gaming experience and I encourage you to accept it, some people may find this uncomfortable. If you are one of them, simply press ESC during the scene and unclick the "Epilepsy" toggle. This will disable screen flashing.
