Alienation: day one

GAMEPLAY

Play as a bio-lab technician. You get to create new organisms in a friendly work environment. Starting a new job can be challenging. Although you could feel confused and frustrated in the beginning - if you persevere, you will be rewarded!

This is a short silly little game and if you're in the mood to try something that is a little less main stream, why not give it a try? It's a little bit experimental - the goal is to have a different type of experience compared to other games. Please let me know if you run into any bugs or problems! I hope you enjoy it.

Oh and I definitely recommend playing with headphones. I played it without headphones and it was stupid ...hmmm... maybe headphones won't help for that . . .

You just point and click, the game will probably only take about 20 - 40 minutes or so of your time - for which I will be enormously grateful!

ALSO, I'M SORRY - the download is rather big! It is mainly because you can create thousands of different creature combinations. I haven't added the higher resolution images to the "zoomed in view" yet, but then the download size will really be very big! If there is interest - I will add a second download with higher resolution images for the "zoomed in view".

PERFORMANCE

Best played at 1366 x 768 resolution.

The game is mostly a bit heavy on graphics card memory, but here are the system requirements from the Construct 2 website:

Minimum system requirements

• Windows XP Service Pack 3 or newer

• 512 MB RAM

• 1 GHz Processor

• The latest version of your graphics card drivers

Recommended system requirements

• Windows 7 or newer

• 2 GB RAM

• 2 GHz dual-core processor

• A nVidia or AMD graphics card with latest drivers. Construct 2 recommends you avoid any hardware using Intel graphics chips due to their poor performance, stability, and feature set.

Really nice system requirements
(You can get by fine without these, but if you can they're nice to have.)

• Solid state drive (SSD) for OS and software

• 64-bit edition of Windows 7 or newer

• 4 GB of RAM or more

• A nVidia or AMD graphics card with latest drivers, at least 512 MB of dedicated video memory and support for OpenGL 2.0+
