Amputee Party is my entry for the GameJolt Contest 10.
The game is an arcade "optimisation" game, in which you are the host of a high society party, trying to keep everything organised, the guests happy, and the waiters busy.
Guests will slowly arrive, and once you pick them up, will begin to mingle. Some might find a group to talk to, others might go eat and drink. Your waiters will automatically wander a bit and offer glasses, as well as refill the buffet. It is your job, however, to tell them where to stand watch for empty glasses and buffets.
The social interactions of the guests are governed by a simple trait system. Every guest has one, or sometimes two, of three possible interests. Guests talking to others with the same traits will make both of them very happy, while talking to others who are the polar opposite of themselves will make them quite angry. Be sure to look out for incompatible couples and split them up!
