Just gave the game a play and took me just over an hour to beat the whole thing. It's quite a short game but it's also fairly impressive you managed to make it all in about 19 hours and I really enjoyed what you had created. I didn't see an ending like that coming and it did give me a bit of chuckle, same going for the humour of the game too to which I enjoyed, it actually reminds me of the odd humour I tend to put into my stuff and I liked most of the characters you had as well, they had pretty good personalities, they were a pretty likeable cast and I got a kick out of the funny bits of dialogue you could have before fighting bosses and the odd jokes & 4th wall breaking here and there.
I think you gave each of the party characters a good class role each with enough unique abilities for each of them. I don't know if it was due to time constraints but a few times I felt like I wished some of the party had a few more attacks each as aside from using some of the debuff/buff skills, I'd only really use a few of the skills that some of them had. Only times I really had much of an issue during battles was the last two boss fights but only due to me slightly rushing into things, thinking I'd be okay and just getting owned but then after grinding a little, I go through them fairly simply by thinking about what move I should be next etc. Though the battles I found were nicely handled.
Overall I liked what you were able to make in such a short time and I'd love to see more stuff from you in the future if you ever plan on making more RPG Maker stuff. :)
premade assets are everywhere.. i dont want to dish 1$ just to play some generic game
This was a fun ride. There was a time when I can only target one enemy at a time and I mistook it as a bug and it turns out, it was just the mouse pointer included in the action. I suggest to bring up an option to not include mouse in the input.
cool
Originally made as a challenge to see if I can create a game in less than 24 hours of total game development time. The game took 19 hours, 47 minutes, and 39 seconds from start to finish. Seems like I passed the challenge. But due to the rushed nature of it, game balance, fun, grammar, and a cohesive story is all but guaranteed. It was something I wanted to submit for Ludum Dare 42, but I decided against it for a variety of reasons.
STORY
Join Daniel, Amber, Nicole, and Kyle, a group of rookies looking to become adventurers, as they start a strange new tale of misfortune, meeting strange people in strange lands, and encountering strange situations. How will their "Anti-Adventure" unfold? Go find out!

It's a short game. You can probably get an hour out of it. It's a classic turn-based RPG. It's also free! But I won't complain if you feel like sending money my way.
