Smooth gameplay, nice graphics and music, unlockable content that's all I can say about your game. I'll recommend you to add multiplayer (maybe hotseat). By the way some monsters dropped half or quarter of the heart but they seem not to restore my health. Is it a bug or maybe I misunderstood this somehow?
NOWAY, this is a great arcade/platformer. Has a nice UI, lovely artwork, hectic shooting and running, WOW. It's pretty much good in all regards, there's just one thing though, have you ever considered to add inside the game the controls? (perhaps even a chance of changing them, that'd be awesome)

Awesome. Very beautiful game. The art is just my type, and the game play is smooth. It was easy at first, but it got much more challenging further into the rounds. 4/5

Arena of Death is a jump-and-shoot game I made to try some things out.
Soundtrack by Br1ght Pr1mate/James Therrien.
It's pretty much finished, but will get some updates in the near future ( more characters, configurable keyboard input and gamepad support ).
Controls:
Use mouse to navigate through menu
Arrows to walk left/right
Double tap to dash
J to jump
L to use primary weapon
