Lovely art, and the character design is fun and unique. The dialogue creates this fun and weird world: a short intro sequence could have set that tone from the start. Nicely done!

Her sister Ashley was burned for witchcraft. She seeks Ashley's ashes in another realm so she can attempt a reanimation spell.
Controls:
WASD move
Down Arrow: Fire
W,S/Up, Down to choose text.
Spacebar to advance.
Esc: Quit
Spoiler Tip: If you can't figure out how to kill the boss, shoot the pyramid orbs when they are aligned with his eyes. If he's blinking it'll bounce off, so hit them when his eye is open. bam.
