My name Is Notlad, im a youtuber and just recently i got to play your game, I had such a blast and thought it was very spooky especially towards the end when the ghost starts speeding up. Just wanted to say thanks for putting this out there and keep up the great work! Play-through: https://youtu.be/gNpmrODRvA0

I really liked this little game. I would like to see more of it

Played it not knowing what I was getting myself into, and what do you know? Actually a decent game with some jumpscares and the fact that the monster gets faster each time you grabs keys, that's pretty darn cool! It basically gives you that awareness that you NEED to get your butt moving or you're going to die!

[GAME IS STILL IN EARLY DEVELOPMENT AND IS BEING ACTIVELY UPDATED]

A dark spirit haunts the church grounds after sunset.

You suddenly wake up at night to find that you have been locked inside a newly abandoned church grounds. Someone has trapped you in there. You must find the several keys scattered around the graveyard in order to unlock the gate and escape. However watch your back as you search. You never know what unanimated monster the developer has put in (hehe)

Upcoming Features:

  • Monster Animations

  • Jumpscare death

  • Map updates

  • Spontaneous monster which appears randomly

  • Random key generation

CONTROLS:

Move: WASD
Sprint: Shift
Crouch: Ctrl
Jump: Spacebar
Flashlight: E

I've got lots of potential ideas for future updates for the game, but for now I'm leaving the project in it's current stage to hopefully create even better and scarier games.

Thank you all for your support of the project :D

However I'm shelving the project with the hope of returning to it in the future, perhaps once I've adequately polished my skills as a game dev in order to produce a full horror game.

There are a few reasons why I'm doing this, but the largest reason is that the game was very difficult to develop for, which stemmed from my lack of game development when starting the project, which led to many problems later on.

Hey there guys,

So unfortunately given the state of the game I've decided to shelve the project for now.

Exams are over!! Now back to business :3
