Introducing "AsteRAGE 2: to Infinity": a twist on a classic arcade-age formula! Travel down memory lane back to a time when quarter-eating arcade machines reigned supreme over video game land, only this time you get to keep your pocket change.
As in AsteRAGE Classic, pilot your craft to avoid collisions with other objects in the asteroid belt, including enemy weapons fire. Collect raw materials and select upgrades via the on-board manufacturing module to power up your ship to new levels of destructive efficiency. Annihilate your targets with three types of weapons: the standard-issue plasma bolt blaster, enemy seeking homing missiles, or the nebulous sonic disruptor beam.
AsteRAGE Classic is also included in this bundle, so you get two games in one!
Be sure to fully extract the zip archive into its own folder, as the game will not be able to find its data while compressed. Also, AsteRAGE needs Java 7 or higher. If you don't have it, it's easy to get at www.java.com.
Gameplay is controlled with the keyboard: WASD or Arrow keys + space bar for basic actions like moving and shooting. Integrated support for controllers are on the to-do list, though the game currently works just as well if you have a 3rd party USB controller driver or similar. This is my first game, so please be kind! :)
