STORY:

ASTRO is a space-themed, retro-style Arcade game where you earn points to prevent being eaten by a approaching space monster, shoot at incoming Asteroids and UFO's, and avoid electric zaps in order to earn the highest score possible! You can expect a package of surprises and fun that awaits you...

The aforementioned game was produced by the company Olympia Games in 2004 and has been a fan favorite at the family restaurant that you work the nightshift at. With a previous history of bugs and exploits, a group of hired technicians and programmers successfully managed to restore the game to a playable state.

A week later, your Junior Manager instructs you with one simple task: to play test the Arcade Cabinet. You comply with their request and head over to the storage room...

This game won't work on older machines! I cannot guarantee that this game will work on everyones machine considering the fact that i've upgraded to a different game engine and have enable compatibility for both Macintosh and Windows computers.

HOW TO PLAY:

Main Controls

Use the arrow keys to interact or to move the Spaceship
Press the space button to accept or to shoot

Gameplay Obstacles:

Space Monster - Will attempt to eat you once it reaches a certain point if you don't shoot at obstacles such as UFO's or Asteroids. Once it eats you it is an immediate game over.
UFO - These Alien troopers will attempt to shoot at you and make you lose lives, they can avoid and move around at destined times so try to shoot them as much as possible because they'll grant you many lives depending on how many times it has been shot at!
Asteroids - Are common obstacles to encounter when playing this game, shoot at them in order to grant one point!
Electric Zaps - These obstacles appear often and will screw your shooting mechanic for 10 seconds! Avoid them completely because they cannot be shot at!
1+ Hearts - These will grant you with 1+ live(s), but be aware that they are quite rare to encounter and you can only possess up to 10 lives before they become completely difficult to come across!
